This mandatory program provides comprehensive support and approved accommodation for your general welfare while studying in Australia.

It is a requirement to meet the conditions of your Australian student visa (subclass 500) if you are under 18 when you enter Australia and begin your program at UQ or UQ College, and you:

• Are not living with a parent or approved legal custodian/relative.
• Require approved accommodation and welfare arrangements to satisfy your visa requirements.

This program is available for students enrolled in Bridging English and Foundation English Programs only.

Note: This program is not available for students only enrolled in the standalone Integrated English (IE) course. For this option, students must be at least 18 years of age.
