Offering Concurrent Support for UQ Students

Study updates
Published 2 Mar, 2026  ·  2-minute read

As O‑Week and Connect Week kicked off at The University of Queensland, our team joined events across UQ to share how Academic Communication Skills (ACS) can help students build confidence and skills from day one.

ACS provides free academic support for all UQ students, offering online and in‑person workshops that cover essential university skills, from understanding assessment types to strengthening research, writing, and presentation skills. These sessions are designed to help students succeed not just in their first semester, but throughout their entire academic journey.

Over the past week, our team loved meeting new and returning students and hearing about their goals for the semester ahead. We were thrilled to be part of:

  • UQU Market Day St Lucia
  • UQ International Student Breakfast
  • UQU Market Day Gatton

A huge thank you to our incredible team members who represented ACS with enthusiasm and passion.

We're excited for the year ahead and for the opportunity to support students as they settle into life at The University of Queensland.
