Withdrawing from the TPP
This page explains how to withdraw from the Tertiary Preparation Program (TPP) at UQ College, including important academic considerations.
If you are enrolled in a different UQ College program, please contact studentadmin@uqcollege.uq.edu.au or speak with your Academic Manager for advice.
Before you withdraw
Withdrawing from a course or program may have academic consequences, depending on when you withdraw.
If you are experiencing serious health or personal difficulties, withdrawing as early as possible may help you avoid unnecessary penalties.
In some instances, you may be able to complete your course with the help of academic adjustments such as:
- assessment extensions, and
- deferred examinations.
Students should speak to their teacher about academic adjustments.
