UQ Graduate Exit IELTS Test Scheme for Semester 2/2021 (CLOSED)

The UQ graduate exit IELTS test is offered to provide UQ International students with formal certification of their English language ability on program completion and as a value-add to their UQ studies.

If you are an international student and have finished your UQ degree, you may be eligible for a subsidised IELTS test. All UQ international graduates are eligible to apply. However, there is only a limited number of places available each semester.

  • This scheme is only available for ACADEMIC IELTS testing.
  • Pre-Approval is required before booking your IELTS test. 
  • Your degree must be complete prior to registering for this scheme and you must request evidence of completion from UQ Student Centre prior to applying. You will then pay 50% of the published IELTS fee. (No refunds available)

Available test dates

If you completed your studies in:

  • Semester Two: You are eligible for an Academic Test in December 2021.

You can only participate once in this scheme over the duration of your studies at UQ. Tests can only be booked through the UQ College IELTS Test Centre webpage.


How to apply

  • Email a copy of your COMPLETION LETTER to ielts@uqcollege.uq.edu.au
  • Wait for approval (via email) with half price payment link
  • Register for your December 2021 IELTS test via the UQ College IELTS webpage
  • DO NOT make payment via the IELTS Registration site (no refunds available)
  • Make payment using the UQ half price payment link.

Please note: - There are limited places available.  You will be advised via email (after sending through your completion letter) if you are not successful.

Completion letters will be available from the UQ Student Centre once Semester 2 results are released on 1 December 2021.
