UQ College's Online Bridging Courses are designed to help students fulfil a subject prerequisite in General Mathematics or Mathematical Methods for study at The University of Queensland.

Delivered online, this self-directed program allows international students to complete a subject prerequisite before coming to Australia.

While the pace of the learning is flexible, students investing 3 – 5 hours per week in their study can expect to complete:

Pure Mathematics in approximately 30 weeks,
General Mathematics in approximately 20 weeks.

Some students may take more or less time to complete the course depending on prior maths study, familiarity with the content, or personal mathematical ability. The minimum amount of time needed to complete the courses is also affected by exam time slots. If you are unsure about whether a student can complete an Online Bridging Course before a particular date, please contact enquiries@uqcollege.uq.edu.au before applying.
