EAC Oral Presentations

In this module, you will learn how to create engaging hooks for strong introductions, how to structure and signpost your presentation so it's easy for your audience to follow. You will also practise speaking in a way that is impactful and interesting, as well as how to wrap everything up with a strong ending.

This course is designed to help both international and domestic students alike, so you feel more confident when giving presentations in English.

We hope you enjoy the module and learn useful skills for your studies and future career.

You'll see that there are three (3) activities for each topic.

First, there are two (2) digital modules. These are completed online and will help you learn the key skills needed for this topic.

We strongly recommend completing both of the digital modules before attending the workshop.

Then there is the workshop, which is a 50-minute, guided session with a teacher that can be attended either face-to-face or online.

This workshop will help you to practise the skills you've learnt in the digital modules and apply them to real situations.

At the end of the workshop, you'll be able to submit a sample of your own work, demonstrating the skills taught in the lesson.

This submission will be reviewed by a teacher, and feedback will be provided to you.
